Boylan Brown Adds Wilsey, New Service Offering
Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Karla Damico Wilsey as Of Counsel to the firm.
For the past 25 years, Mrs. Wilsey has served as General Counsel and Senior Executive to Public Abstract Corporation (a subsidiary of The First American Corporation). She will lead Boylan Brown's "General Counsel Business Advantage" program, which provides part-time General Counsel services to small and mid-sized companies. She provides proactive, practical business strategies and legal solutions for small and middle market businesses, combining her practical business knowledge with a broad legal knowledge base to optimize business opportunities and meet the challenges faced by business owners and key stakeholders.
“Karla brings over twenty-five years of in-house counsel experience to our firm,” said Susan Schultz Laluk, Chair of Boylan Brown’s Business & Corporate Law Group. “Her hands-on business experience will not only benefit our current clients, but will also help us to provide a unique new service offering for companies who may be too small for full-time in-house counsel, but who are large enough to require more than the routine representation by outside counsel.”
Mrs. Wilsey is a member of the New York State, Monroe County and American Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys. She is also an active volunteer in the community, devoting her time to the Al Sigl Center, the American Diabetes Association, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Habitat for Humanity, the Lawyers for Learning Program (MCBA), and the Volunteer Legal Services Project.
