Boylan, Brown, Code, Vigdor & Wilson, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of William N. Hulsey, III as Of Counsel to the firm.

Mr. Hulsey is the founder of HULSEY Intellectual Property Lawyers, P.C., a firm of five intellectual property attorneys and seven technical advisors based in Austin, Texas. The firm provides customized legal services and business counseling to clients ranging from start-up technology companies to large, publicly-traded industry leaders. Mr. Hulsey’s services include intellectual property counseling, patent and trademark portfolio development, e-commerce and internet technologies, strategic planning for intellectual property, and intellectual property audits. His firm has technical expertise in a variety of industries, including software, electronics, wireless technology, aerospace, chemistry, robotics, optics, nanotechnology, and energy.

Mr. Hulsey’s firm is also affiliated with Osha-Liang, LLP, an international intellectual property firm with offices in Texas, California, and France, and additional patent attorneys in Europe, Korea, and Japan. The addition of Mr. Hulsey to the firm, and his affiliation with Osha-Liang, LLP, gives Boylan Brown and its clients access to highly skilled counsel around the globe.

Prior to founding HULSEY Intellectual Property Lawyers, P.C., Mr. Hulsey founded the intellectual property law practice in the Baker & Botts, LLP Austin Office, co-established the Austin Office of the California-based Gray Cary, LLP technology law firm, and served as national practice leader for the Intellectual Property Law Practice of the Hughes & Luce, LLP. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt School of Law (J.D., 1987), the University of Virginia (M.A., Economics, 1987), and Rhodes College (B.S., Mathematics, 1977). Mr. Hulsey resides in Austin, Texas.
