Mr. Rosenbloom is engaged in private arbitration and mediation and serves as Chair of the Firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Professional Experience

Mr. Rosenbloom has practiced law in Rochester for 49 years.  Before joining Boylan Brown, he served as a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court and as Judge of the New York State Family Court.

Professional Affiliations

He is a member of the Panel of Neutrals of the American Arbitration Association, National Arbitration & Mediation, National Arbitration Forum, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Resolute Systems.  He also serves as a Judicial Hearing Officer in the NYS Supreme Court and for the NYS Retirement System.  He is a past president of the Monroe County Bar Association and served in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.  He is a current member of the Character and Fitness Committee for the Seventh Judicial District.

Professional Honors and Achievements

Mr. Rosenbloom received the Award of Merit from the New York State Association of Trial Lawyers in 1986 and was a recipient of the Nathaniel Award for exceptional dedication to the legal profession in 2003.  He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, and The New York Area’s Best Lawyers.

Community Service

Mr. Rosenbloom currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society, the Advisory Board of the Jewish Family Service, the Board of Governors of the Jewish Home of Rochester, the Advisory Committee of the Paralegal Studies Program at Monroe Community College and is a member of the Board of Ethics of the Town of Brighton.  He has served as president of Jewish Family Service of Rochester and the Genesee Valley Chapter of the American Heart Association.  He has also served on the Boards of Children Awaiting Parents, Center For Dispute Settlement, Temple Beth El and Statewide Youth Advocacy.
